Research Focus 
The role of music in Latin America. My research and practice is to study and create music that explores the role of culture in social and political movements. My research is both academic and practical as a I work frequently as a music producer and do extensive research about the historical context of the musical genre I am working in. I also have engaged in documenting and promoting folk music style form Latin America. I have worked in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica Nicaragua, Cuba, Mexico and Jamaica.
