Biography, Education and Training

M.S., Northwestern University

  • Thesis: Que Voy a Hacer; Je Suis Perdu: The Distinctive Learning Needs of English Language Learners and Developmental English Speakers
    • Researched and developed new framework to perform learning needs assessment for developmental English students and English Language Learners

 

B.A., cum laude, UC San Diego

 

I joined the Politics Department and Latin American and Latino Studies Department in January 2018 as the Graduate Programs Coordinator. I previously worked as an Undergraduate Advisor in the UCSC Psychology Department. I take pride in incorporating social justice, as well as compassionate and research-backed advising strategies and teaching pedagogies, in my work in advising, administration, and program development.
