The Latin American and Latino Studies Department offers the following resources to help students plan their studies.

Pre-approved undergraduate elective courses

We encourage students to take pre-approved elective courses (link to full catalog list) outside of LALS: up to two courses toward the LALS BA or minor, or up to three courses if students use study away courses toward their requirements. When possible, we provide a list of tentative outside electives in LALS based on other departments’ yearly schedules.
